Stefan Mindea reviews – Lumbar injections, herniated disc surgery with implant
I was a patient of doctor Stefan Mindea, portrayed in the media as a top neurosurgeon with an impressive CV—yet key information has since been removed from it without any explanation. During treatment, I received spinal injections under CT guidance, but the images I was given are missing a crucial detail. I was later operated on by Dr. Mindea using a technique described as unique and innovative, yet it is nowhere to be found in the medical records—and it no longer appears to be a registered trademark either. I was advised to get an “indispensable” implant, about which I was told almost nothing, and which was sold to me by a company that turned out to be owned by Dr. Mindea himself. The implant’s price was over a hundred times its catalogue value. Throughout this process, my questions were left unanswered. Am I the only patient who has had such an experience?
